Jolante That's how a Mainer, quoted in the Herald, described it. I'm tempted to agree. Last week was too cold, soon we'll be complaining about the heat. With summer just around the corner, yesterday was a sweet spot of sun, temperature and anticipation. |
Cindy What a beautiful day...it started with moreal picking with Mom. When I got home Dad called and wanted to go picking...so I went and I'm glad I did. We found a place where the flowers were so thick it looked like a carpet. I shot almost 4000 images today. Then when I got home, my best friend stopped over and we went fishing. It stormed us out...so we headed home. No sooner walked in the door and the rain came. Then the sun was setting and it caused a beautiful sunset. It was a wonderful day. |
Penelopy Three years ago we bid on a house on Park Ave that was remarkably similar to this one, but the entire third floor was trashed. Those houses are AMAZING. The floors and the wood details were fantastic. We bid the asking price, but got out-bid by more than 50k immediately. A shame, because the house we just bought ended up costing more than that one, and is not of the same calibre re: original architectural detailings. |

| Come join us for the first game of today’s baseball doubleheader, starting at 1 p.m. The Maroons (8-11) host Dominican (9-13) in a clash of defensive and offensive teams, respectively. Seems like it’s been forever since we broadcast any baseball or softball games, and looking at the mostly rained-out schedule, it has been. Tim, Kate, and I are looking forward to getting some baseball back in at J. Kyle Anderson Field. |
